After years of restoration work, Marina von Halem and her son Alexander have created a rural idyll in the form of a small hotel that they manage and look after themselves. With its rose-covered arcade courtyard, romantic castle garden and splendid halls, the castle is always popular with guests for family celebrations. The individually furnished guestrooms, some with four-poster beds, emanate a intensely private character but the jewel of the castle is the "Schönborn Room" with its 18th century frescos.
